We are a sincere company with a unifying vision; to create beautiful, freestanding kitchens which redefine the cookspace and bring family life, interior design and ergonomics back together as one.
We began to assemble our team of craftsfolk and visionaries many years ago and have been a whir of activity ever since. Headed up by founder Al Bruce, we spearhead the freestanding kitchen revolution with our timeless handmade pieces of freestanding kitchen furniture. The talented individuals who comprise the Crusoe Kitchens team each share a deep-rooted passion for integrity, creativity and quality craftsmanship. And it shows.
Our Founder
From humble beginnings, our founder Al Bruce began his illustrious career 25 years ago studying to be a cabinet maker at college. With a natural flair for the craft of cabinetry, coupled with an innate business acumen, Al soon rose up through the ranks of the kitchen industry, gaining invaluable experience and a wealth of knowledge along the way.

We build freestanding kitchens that last. Using a careful balance of traditional English craftsmanship, modern technology and intuitive design, our handmade freestanding kitchens exude an unparalleled class with durability and functionality at their core.
We work hard to keep the unfitted kitchen market fresh, and have plans for some exciting collaborations with guest designers. We will be adding new designs to the range over the coming months and are very excited to showcase the fruit of these partnerships.
